After several months of work, we are excited to share the Strategic Plan for Decatur Public Schools. This plan will serve as a living document that will evolve over time and guide the district's work for the next five years.

The Board of Education approved the plan in June 2026, and we are excited to begin implementing it during the 2026–2027 school year. This is an exciting time for DPS, and we look forward to working with all stakeholders to bring this plan to life and achieve our shared goals for the future.
