  • Announcements for 12/13/18


    Students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to attend a Notre Dame home men's basketball game on Saturday, December 29th.  The cost is only $12 per person.  This includes the price of the ticket and bus ride to and from Notre Dame. The bus will leave the Jr. Sr. High School parking lot at 10:00 AM with the game beginning noon.  The bus will be back in Decatur between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. If you would like to attend this game, please sign up in the district office with Mrs. Baushke.  Thank you.

    The Raider winter training program will begin on Tuesday, January 8th. It's a 10 week program that will take place every Tuesday and Thursday after school. This program is for any age, ability, and distance. If you have any additional questions about the program, please feel free to contact coach Smola.


    The Brown Bag food drive continues today with Soup Day.   All types of soup count for double points.  Mr. Bonhomme's class was in first yesterday, followed by Ms. Palanca's class.   Tomorrow is canned tomato product day.   Any tomato product, sauce, salsa, paste,etc counts for double points.  


    The Decatur Varsity wrestling team earned two victories last night over Gobles 30- 24 and Cassopolis 39 -6. They will wrestle saturday at Eau Claire and next Wednesday at home.


    There will be high school science olympiad practice today after school and during pride period in Mr. Dick's room.


    There will be a meeting today for all students interested in participating on the middle school Science Olympiad team tomorrow during Pride period in Mrs. Stiger's room.


    Students in Mrs. Stiger's and Mr. Dick's Pride period classes should meet today in the cafeteria.


    Sports pictures for high school basketball athletes will be on Monday, December 17th. Varsity and jv boys will be right after school and varsity and jv girls will be at 5:30 PM.


    Sports pictures for high school wrestling athletes will be Wednesday, December 19th, right after school.

  • National Honor Society

    The National Honor Society is open to all qualified students in grades 10- 12 who meet the requirements for membership outlined by the guidelines provided to us by the NASSP.
