    • Tonight the junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams have a home game against Bloomingdale. On Friday, the varsity football team will host the Hartford Indians in the annual homecoming game. Support your Raider classmates and earn S.H.I.P. points at the same time.
    • Tomorrow will be a half day of school. We will be following a PM schedule. Seniors will be participating in CPR training. Also, the cafeteria staff will make sack lunches available for students who are interested in taking them after school tomorrow. If you are interested in taking a free sack lunch after school tomorrow, please let the cashier know today when you are going through the lunch line.
    • We also have a few students who will be taking the PSAT tomorrow morning. All students taking the PSAT should report to the cafeteria when they get to school tomorrow.
    • Any boy interested in participating in junior high basketball should sign up in Mr. Southworth’s room. The first day of practice is October 28th right after school. You must have a physical on file in order to participate.
    • Today I would like to recognize Mr. Wicklund for demonstrating excellence. Mr. Wicklund was nominated by a student and a pair of his colleagues. Mr. Wicklund demonstrates excellence every day as a math teacher. He is dedicated to his students and is focused on helping them reach their math potential. Mr. Wicklund also demonstrates excellence as our student council advisor. He puts a lot of effort into making sure our students have lots of fun things to do, especially during homecoming week. On behalf of our students and staff, I would like to thank Mr. Wicklund for helping to make our school excellent!
